The Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals is recruiting for the next Division Chief. Appointment will be made at the Associate or Full Professor rank in the Clinical X, Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, or In Residence faculty series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will join a leading academic medical center and contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care. This leadership role includes oversight of a broad portfolio of clinical programs, educational initiatives, and faculty development efforts. Clinical responsibilities may include service at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses.
We are seeking a visionary and collaborative leader with a strong record of achievement in clinical care, medical education, and/or health systems improvement. The Division Chief will play a key role in shaping strategic efforts to strengthen primary care delivery and advance population health, particularly for pediatric patients in high-need or resource-limited settings.
The Division Chief will have access to substantial institutional resources to support interdisciplinary program growth across UCSF's tripartite mission.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $161,700-$344,400. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
