We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Fellow with expertise and interest in cardiac metabolism to join the Rider and Tyler Labs at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR). The OCMR is a world-renowned centre for cardiac MRI research and is part of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Oxford. The OCMR provides a vibrant and dynamic environment for researchers and clinicians, offering state-of-the-art facilities and a multidisciplinary team approach to cardiovascular research and clinical practice.

As Clinical Research Fellow, you will be responsible for delivering and coordinating the Aortic Stenosis (AS) arm of a prospective clinical imaging research study. The post-holder will oversee the day-to-day running of the patient pathway from identification and consent through imaging visits and follow-up after valve replacement. Your role will involve key responsibilities including patient identification and recruitment, study visit coordination, patient management, governance and compliance, and data and documentation.

This position sits at the interface of cardiology, cardiac surgery, radiology, and clinical research delivery, requiring strong organizational skills, patient-facing experience, and the ability to manage a complex longitudinal study schedule.

This is a full-time appointment on a fixed-term contract to 31 December 2026, in the first instance, and you will be based at the OCMR, John Radcliffe Hospital, OX3 9DU.
