Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to support a new, innovative clinical laboratory. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with clinical lab experience who will validate and perform clinical tests, establish new assays with CSHL scientists, and contribute to developing a new testing platform for personalized cancer therapeutics. The technologist will work with the Medical Director and Lab Supervisor to perform tests—including existing assays such as COVID-19—in compliance with all regulatory and institutional standards.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree, required. |

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a clinical laboratory is recommended. Experience in general molecular biology techniques, such as nucleic acids isolation, PCR, etc is preferred. |

SKILLS: Licensed by New York State Education Department (NYSED) as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (or Cytotechnologist), required. |

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is $70,000-$95,000.00. The salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
