Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clinical, Clinical X or In Residence) (2 positions) Department of Radiation Oncology Genitourinary Tumors
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco, is seeking to recruit a full-time faculty member (MD or MD/PhD) clinical/academic radiation oncologist to specialize in genitourinary cancers at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Health Sciences Clinical, Clinical X, or In-Residence Series. Descriptions of these series may be found in the UCSF online Academic Personnel Manual.
Candidates must be Radiation Oncology ABR board-certified or board-eligible and qualify for medical licensure and X-ray supervisor licensure in the state of California. Candidates must also have completed ACGME Residency Training in Radiation Oncology by time of hire. A demonstrated interest in clinical practice, academic pursuits, development and participation in clinical trials, and teaching is preferred. Candidates will have one protected day weekly for academic pursuits and devote four days weekly to clinical duties. The primary focus will be genitourinary cancers including external beam radiotherapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and brachytherapy.
The hired faculty member will work with an outstanding, collaborative multidisciplinary team of Radiation Oncologists, Urologists, and Medical Oncologists, and will be expected to help expand the clinical research program in genitourinary cancers. The faculty member will also teach in educational courses provided by the Department of Radiation Oncology for medical students, residents and fellows, and contribute to continuing medical education efforts.
Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with experience and achievements.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $154,700-$405,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
