The Johns Hopkins Department Of Medicine seeks candidates for the position of Director Of The Division Of Cardiology And Co-Director Of The Heart And Vascular Institute. The Division Director Is A Key Leader In The Department Of Medicine, Serving As The Leader Of The Division's Faculty, Staff And Trainees And Overseeing An Extensive Portfolio Of Clinical Care, Research, And Educational Programs.
With over 118 Full-Time Faculty, 45 Full-Time Fellows, 36 Advanced Practice Providers (App), And 174 Staff, The Division Of Cardiology Excels In All Elements Of The Tripartite Mission, Ranking Among The Leading Divisions In The Nation. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Promoting Faculty Development, Recruiting And Appointing New Faculty, Advancing Innovative Care Models, And Planning Short- And Long-Term Strategic Growth Aligned With Johns Hopkins Medicine's Mission. The Division Director Reports To The Director Of The Department Of Medicine And Will Work With Other Senior Leaders As Appropriate.
