As a research scientist in the field of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) (m/w/d) at our Wuppertal location, you have the opportunity to use your knowledge strategically to advance our shared success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting and developing analyses with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) on materials and products.
• New development, improvement, and location transfer of test methods in the field of membrane analysis on products for industrial, medical, and biopharmaceutical applications.
• Qualification and validation of test methods in the field of instrumental material analysis.
• Identification, participation, and leadership of projects for the optimization and expansion of the portfolio of analytical procedures.
• In analytically physical questions, you will take the technical lead and support with detailed analyses and recommendations within the framework of continuous improvement.

The key to success:

Education:

• Minimum bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the field of natural sciences, materials science, or a related field.

Experience:

• Long-term experience in the field of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS).
• Desirable experience in test method development and validation, ideally for plastic analysis.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Team spirit, communication skills, a pronounced goal orientation, and very good English- and German-language skills round out your profile.
