The Department of Neurology at UCSF is considering applicants for faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and full Professor ranks of the Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, and In Residence faculty series. Depending on training and academic focus, successful candidates will be appointed to our Division of Movement Disorders and Neuromodulation or Division of Neuroimmunology and Glial Biology.
Qualified faculty candidates must possess a medical or doctoral degree and postdoctoral or post-MD residency and fellowship training in their stated field. Preferred qualifications include current medical licensure, Board Certification in Neurology, and an established record of excellence in clinical care and/or research. Candidates must meet the required qualifications at the time of appointment. Application materials must state qualifications (or explain if pending) upon submission. Teaching responsibilities include didactic and informal teaching on clinical rounds, and/or informal laboratory teaching. The Department of Neurology is highly collaborative and engaged, and we expect all individuals to meet our standards for professionalism and P.R.I.D.E. values.
