Postdoctoral Fellow in 2D materials Full-time

We are recruiting candidates for a fully funded  postdoctoral position (FAPESP postdoctoral fellowship)  in Federal University of Sao Carlos (UFSCAR)-Brazil for a period of  three years.  Our research focuses on  magnetic and optical properties of emergent 2D magnet materials or  magnetic heterostructures based on 2D magnetic materials and monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMD). The researcher will be responsible for sample preparation of 2D magnetic heterostructures and will investigate the impact of strain, electrical field, doping, and twist angles on the optical and magnetic properties of these van der Waals heterostructures.

 Requirements:

 -PhD degree obtained within the last 7 years

– PhD in physics ,material science or a related field

-Full-time and exclusive dedication to the project

– Fluency in English

– Relevant scientific publications related to the project theme

– Scientific independence in designing and conducting research, as well as preparing scientific manuscripts
