Mercor is recruiting U.S./UK/Canada/Europe/Singapore/Dubai/Australia-based Investment Banking or Private Equity Experts for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab.

You are a good fit if you:

• Have at least 2 years of experience working at top firms in investment banking or private equity with deal experience (academic experience does not count, must be on desk)
• Have worked on at least 1 deal worth >$1B

Here are more details about the role:

• You will be building financial models similar to what you would on the desk at an investment bank.
• Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects with Mercor
• The vetting process involves:
• ~10 minute behavioral interview asking about previous deals you've worked on
• Technical assessment (< 2 hours) evaluating financial expertise

Contract and Payment Terms:

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
