Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to leverage the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.
• Train on and perform analytical testing using multiple technologies to evaluate protein biopharmaceuticals for characterization, process validation, and stability monitoring.
• Work with experienced scientists to optimize, transfer, or qualify analytical methods.
• Use electronic databases to store test data.
• Provide analytical support for MSAT's Upstream and Downstream teams for process development and characterization projects.
• Co-author analytical protocols and reports.
• Follow FDA and/or European agency regulations on analytical methods as they apply.
• Bachelor's degree in Life science, chemistry, engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Experience with protein analysis by ELISA, HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, or other techniques.
• 0-2 years of relevant lab experience.
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
• Experience with protein analysis by HPLC, Capillary Electrophoresis, ELISA, residual DNA, protein concentration by UV or other techniques.
• Willing to learn and work with the team.
• Familiar with Microsoft office.

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $25.00–$35.00.
