The Center for Molecular Plant Breeding (CeM2P), an Engineering Research Center (ERC) supported by FAPESP and based at UNICAMP is delighted to share a post-doctoral position with a partnership with Agronomic Institute (IAC) – Sugarcane Centre (FAPESP fellowship) in sugarcane transcriptomics and phenomics. We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to work on transcriptomic tools and high-throughput phenotyping applied to studies of resistance to sugarcane mosaic virus. The postdoctoral researcher will also contribute to projects related to flowering and genomic/transcriptomic studies of interest to CeM²P. Requirements: MSc and PhD in Plant Genetics and Breeding or related fields; Knowledge in sugarcane breeding, flowering, molecular markers, bioinformatics, polyploids and high-throughput phenotyping data analysis; International experience during the PhD; Fluency in English, and immediate availability.
