The Korem Lab (https://koremlab.science) aims to obtain actionable understanding of the microbiome’s role in reproductive health, using rigorous bioinformatics, statistical analysis, and machine learning. As part of the Program for Mathematical Genomics and the Departments of Systems Biology and Ob/Gyn, we operate in an engaging and multi-disciplinary environment consisting of computational biologists, applied mathematicians, statisticians, physicists, and physicians. The lab operates at the intersection between computational biology and medicine, developing analytic approaches, algorithms, and computational methods that aim to integrate multi-omic and clinical data to study health and disease.
We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher who will analyze exciting multi-omic datasets (including metagenomics, metabolomics, immune profiles, biomechanical measurements, and clinical records). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in computational biology with experience in bioinformatics, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
