This position has a term length of 1 year plus 1 day.
Location – This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton.
The Laboratory Technician conducts research in the field of cardiovascular disease using mice as an animal model. The work for this position includes genotyping, tissue collection, histology, immunostaining and microscopy. This position will also be responsible for routine tasks such as placing orders for reagents and materials for the laboratory, keeping an up-to-date inventory of reagents, SOPs, and lab safety documents.
