Lecturer – AI Training and Education Full-time NEW

IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center is a leading research, development, and innovation centre active in the fields of High-Performance Computing (HPC), Data Analytics (HPDA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Quantum Computing (QC) and their applications. We have strong international links and employ more than 180 scientific, technical, and administrative staff. At present, IT4Innovations is running two supercomputers: Karolina (15.7 PFlop/s, installed in the summer of 2021), Barbora (849 TFlop/s, installed in the autumn of 2019), and is a member of the consortium operating LUMI, one of Europe’s most powerful supercomputers. Required expertise:

• Proven experience with teaching or training activities
• Experience with AI models

Activity description:

• training and education activities related to AI,
• preparation of training content for AI (models, agentic workflows, model context protocols, MLOps lifecycle),
• involvement in research activities, collaboration with a well established group of developers and researchers.

Full time equivalent: 1,0
Type of job contract: fixed-term employment
Expected start of employment: 01. 12. 2025 or as agreed

We require:

• minimum MSc in computer science or related disciplines, PhD is an advantage,
• required experience:
  • proven experience with teaching,
  • knowledge of AI libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow,
  • broad knowledge of models and trends in the AI community,
  • proficiency with git and Jupyter Notebook,
• experience with the High Performance Computing systems technologies is an advantage,
• will to work in an international environment which requires good communication skills in English,
• ability to learn new technologies and to work in a dynamic research environment.
