Backend Engineer Full-time NEW

Malva is an IP-protected deep-tech platform in spin-off phase, making single-cell and multi-omics data instantly searchable, comparable, and interoperable; analyses that once took weeks now run in seconds. The project is currently supported by the BIH Digital Health Accelerator Program (DHA) in Berlin and led by a world-renowned team with a background in Medical Systems Biology.

We are looking for a freelance Backend Engineer (until end of year) to join the team and help build the next phase of Malva’s platform. You will work on the design and implementation of Malva’s backend services, ensuring it operates at enterprise standards and can withstand real-world usage.

Joining now gives you the opportunity to shape the foundation of the initial team, contribute directly to platform development, and help bring a breakthrough biomedical innovation closer to market. While continuation into a potential spin-out cannot be guaranteed, outstanding contributors will be ideally positioned for a central role in Malva’s next phase.
