Manager, Information Delivery

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Analysis, Institutional Data and Analytics, the Manager, Information Delivery is responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-quality data, analytics, and reporting solutions that support university-wide decision-making. The role works closely with academic and administrative units to identify information needs, initiate and deliver new information delivery projects, and translate business requirements into sustainable data solutions. The Manager maintains strong internal visibility and builds external relationships with professional associations, peer institutions, public-sector partners, and third-party providers to ensure the University remains aligned with best practices and emerging trends in data and analytics.

This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person. Work primarily takes place at Enterprise Square.

Responsibilities

Project Management

• Leads internal and external analysis to identify risks and opportunities; designs practical, innovative solutions; delivers projects through effective resource management; overcomes barriers; launches initiatives across the university and transitions ownership to Data Operations.

Talent Management

• Manages staffing, resources, performance, and HR responsibilities; recruits, develops, and retains diverse, high-demand talent; provides clear expectations, feedback, and performance management; builds succession capacity; fosters an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative team culture.

Innovation

• Adapts to the evolving data science and reporting landscape; stays current with emerging technologies and best practices; applies creative problem-solving; prototypes and tests new solutions.

Data Collection and Analysis

• Establishes standards and processes for data analysis and information delivery; designs, develops, validates, and optimizes data warehouse and reporting solutions; improves efficiency through process and technology enhancements; produces documentation and provides expert guidance.

Communication, Coordination, and Reporting

• Supports strategic communications; manages stakeholder engagement; aligns projects with university goals; delivers clear status reporting to senior leadership; communicates effectively across timing, channels, and audiences.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (Master's preferred).

Experience

• 5–10 years experience leading complex projects focused on data, information delivery, and reporting solutions.
• 3–5 years of people management experience.

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of computer systems, statistics, mathematics, and design processes.
