Reporting to the Senior Pathology Core Technician, the Medical Laboratory Technologist independently performs technical histology procedures in support of clinical and research activities within the Laboratory Medicine & Pathology unit. This position is responsible for the preparation, processing, staining, and quality control of human and animal tissue specimens for microscopic examination and diagnostic interpretation by Pathologists. The role ensures compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and laboratory quality assurance protocols, while supporting teaching, research, collaboration, and interdepartmental coordination.
This position has an end date of May 2, 2027.
Location – This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton.
