This is a key role for a skilled instrumentalist to manage the ANU NanoPhase Facility within the Research School of Earth Sciences, where technical experience in disciplines such as phase analysis, spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging and/or force microscopy would be desirable. The successful candidate will provide high-level support to laboratory operations, technical and research operations, and a collection of state-of-the-art instrumentation including a Molecular Vista VistaScope infrared photo-induced force microscope, Horiba LabRAM Soleil Raman FTIR spectroscope, Olympus Vanta M portable x-ray fluorescence spectrometer and Malvern Panalytical Aeris benchtop XRD.
This position is based in the Geochemical Instrument Operations Team within the Research School of Earth Sciences (RSES). RSES is Australia's leading academic research institution for Earth and Marine Sciences.
