The Division of Physics and Applied Physics in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of NTU provides a multidisciplinary academic program that provides students with a wide-ranging and up-to-date education. It offers undergraduate training leading to BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Sciences, as well as graduate training leading to MSc and PhD degrees.

The candidates are expected to:

• Establish a world-class research program

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
• Actively collaborate with NTU faculty and researchers

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality innovative research in terms of publishing top-tier papers
• Giving invited talks at international conferences, securing competitive research grants, and supervising research personnel
• Contribute to teaching and course development at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Giving academic supervision of undergraduate and graduate students
• Undertake administrative and/or leadership roles
• Contribute to other service-related activities assigned by School and University

Requirements:

• PhD in Mathematical or a related discipline
• Strong record of research and relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals
• A good track record of supervising research staff, postdocs, students, and interns in relevant fields
• Experienced in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and collaboration
