The candidates are expected to:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct original high-quality research in areas related to experimental (bio)analytical chemistry or physical chemistry, including but not limited to mass spectrometry, optical trapping, single particle spectroscopy, and microdroplet chemistry.
• Publish high quality papers at reputable peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
• Give invited talks at international conferences, securing competitive research grants, and supervising research personnel.
• Contribute to teaching and course development at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students undertaking research projects.
• Undertake administrative and/or leadership roles.
• Contribute to other service-related activities assigned by School and University.

Requirements:

• PhD in Chemistry or a related discipline, with post-doctoral research experiences.
• Strong record of research and relevant publications in reputable peer-reviewed international journals
• Demonstrated the ability to obtain extramural funding
• A good track record of supervising research staff, postdocs, students, and interns in relevant fields
• Experienced in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and collaboration
