A fully funded postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Colin Wu in National Cancer Institute (NCI), NIH, located in Frederick, MD. Our research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of ribosome quality control and uncovering non-canonical functions of the ribosome in mammalian systems.
We offer multiple exciting projects, including:
The postdoctoral fellow will integrate high-throughput genome-wide approaches, computational, biochemical, and genetic methods to define the molecular mechanisms of these pathways. These projects provide rigorous training in diverse disciplines, with the goal of establishing a strong, high-impact research portfolio.
We are looking for researchers with strong experience in molecular biology and/or RNA biology. International scientists and U.S. citizens are equally eligible. Interested candidates can send a motivation letter, CV, and contact information for two references to Colin Wu.
