Performs innovative data analyses on neuroimaging and related data. Develop and implement computer algorithms for analyzing that data. Assume major responsibility for software and hardware development and implementation in a neuroimaging-focused, neuroscience lab.
Our lab studies sleep and neurological disease with a strong clinically translational focus. You will work hands-on with custom experimental platforms while gaining mentorship and exposure to how basic engineering innovation translates into meaningful neuroscience and medicine.
Why This Role Is Unique:
You'll help create and evolve the core experimental platforms used in the lab — not just operate them.
You'll gain mentorship in a lab that explicitly connects engineering innovation to clinically relevant neuroscience, particularly in sleep and neurology.
Ideal for someone who identifies as a generalist engineer and wants to grow technically while contributing to impactful translational research.
Interested candidates should email landsness@wustl.edu with a cover letter describing their background, hands-on project experience, along with a current resume/CV. Please also include contact information for 1–3 references. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
