Part-Time Lecturer For Postgraduate Level Course

Nanyang Technological University, School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology is looking for a part-time lecturer to carry out teaching and assessment of a postgraduate level course in LLM- Assisted Computational Materials Science as part of the MSc in Chemical Engineering Programme.

Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:

1. Development, coordination and preparation of course outline, learning plan and all matters pertaining to assessments.
2. Coordination of the preparation of course notes and instructional materials. These have to be submitted to the CCEB MSc team by the deadlines given.
3. Conducting classes according to the course syllabus and learning plan.
4. Providing students formative and timely feedback; keeping track of student learning throughout the course.
5. Setting, marking and submission of the results of any assessment as part of the teaching requirement.
6. Coordination with the CCEB MSc team on all matters related to the successful delivery of the programme.
7. Ensuring that NTU's rules, practices and codes of conducts on intellectual property rights and academic integrity are strictly adhered to.
8. Any other task that may be necessary for the successful delivery of the course.

You must be an expert in materials science, computational simulation, and artificial intelligence.

You must have a Ph.D in chemical engineering, physical chemistry, or in a closely related discipline.

You must be a current machine learning, theory and atomistic simulations for material design.

You must be an excellent communicator in English, both verbally and written.

You must be familiar with the operation of a research-intensive university in Singapore, such as Nanyang Technological University

You must have outstanding team-working capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
