A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available immediately in the NIH-funded neuro-oncology group in the Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania (the lab recently moved from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai). Our laboratory seeks highly motivated, talented, and enthusiastic people interested in understanding the brain tumor immune microenvironment and how it contributes to tumorigenesis and response to immunotherapies. Successful candidates must have an MD, a Ph.D., or an MD-PhD degree. A strong background in immunology and/or Cancer Biology is desired. Although not required, experience in neuroscience, genetics, genomics, or mouse models of cancer is preferred. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational and communication skills, and critical thinking abilities.
At least one peer-reviewed first-author publication from Ph.D. is required. Applicants will be able to interact with several brain tumor groups within the Departments of Neurosurgery, Cancer Biology and Radiation Oncology at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania
