A post-doctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Ronen Marmorstein at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania to work in the area of acetyl-CoA metabolism using cryo-EM, biophysical and biochemical approaches. Applicants with expertise in cryo-EM or X-ray crystallography are highly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry or related field. The ideal candidate will self-motivated, enthusiastic, talented, interested in leading a project, and enjoy working with and mentoring others. Experience in cryo-EM or X-ray crystallography is preferred. The applicant should be within one year of completion of their thesis work and have a track record of productivity.
