A position as post doc in structural biology and biochemistry is available at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, University of Aarhus, Denmark. Expected start date and duration of employment: The position is for a 2-year period starting 15 July 2026. Job description: The post doc will join Kasper R. Andersen's research group working on structural and functional analysis of plant receptors and downstream signaling pathway components. The candidate is expected to be able to work independently and to supervise students in the group. Experience with protein purification, bacterial and insect cell expression systems as well as a strong background in protein biochemistry and structural biology (x-ray crystallography and cryoEM) is required. The post doc will use different biophysical techniques to monitor protein-protein interactions and prior knowledge of these is an advantage.

Appointment shall be in accordance with the collective labour agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. Salary depends on seniority as agreed between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and the Confederation of Professional Associations.
