Postdoc Position

Become an engaged Postdoc (m/w/d) in our dynamic Launch and Innovation Unit at our Ingelheim location!

In your new role, you will develop and implement new analysis methods for the quantification of impurities and identity testing of peptides on the LC-HRMS. You will work closely with laboratory technicians from the mass spectrometry lab and the gas chromatography lab of the Launch and Innovation Unit.

This position is for a limited period of 2 years.

This position is part-time capable with at least 80% percent.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new analysis methods on the LC-HRMS for the quantitative analysis of impurities and for the identity testing of peptides.
• With your expertise, analyze and interpret the obtained results and evaluate them thoroughly.
• Furthermore, compile the results in the form of reports and presentations for internal purposes and for communications with authorities.
• Your responsibilities also include troubleshooting, where you systematically analyze occurring technical or analytical challenges and develop sustainable solutions.
• You document your work in accordance with GMP and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

• Doctorate in natural sciences, preferably in analytical chemistry or related fields with a special focus on chromatographic analysis techniques
• Practical experience in the field of instrumental analysis, especially mass spectrometry
• Technical know-how in peptide analysis using HPLC and mass spectrometry, ideally using LC-HRMS and/or in method development using LC-HRMS
• Structured, organized, and systematic working style even with a high workload and parallel tasks to be completed
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is advantageous
• Team player with high engagement, reliability, and pronounced communication skills as well as very good German or English language skills in speech and writing
