Location: PICKLE RESEARCH CAMPUS
Purpose: The candidate will be part of a research team, led by Prof. Mrinal Sen, engaged in cutting edge research on solving subsurface imaging problems using advanced techniques of full waveform modeling, inversion and uncertainty quantification. The team has also been developing physics-based machine learning algorithms for three dimensional seismic modeling, imaging and inversion using high performance computation including parallelization on GPUs.
Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Geophysics, Physics, Earth Sciences, Applied Mathematics or a related field. Ph.D. must have been earned within the past three years.
Salary Range: $65,000
