The candidate will conduct research in transplant immunology in work understanding the impact of immunosuppressive medications in kidney transplant recipients using a systems immunology approach combining transcriptomics, epigenetics, T cell receptor diversity analysis, and functional T cell assays. The focus of the project will be to dissect the impact of post-transplant immunosuppression at the molecular and cellular level to understand vulnerability to infection in kidney transplant recipients. A Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. is required.
The candidate will benefit from a highly collaborative and diverse team of investigators at UCLA including experts in immunogenetics, immunology, transplantation, infectious disease, biostatistics and computational immunology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
