Center for Drug Discovery is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our multidisciplinary drug discovery team. This role offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academic innovation and “real-world” therapeutic development. The successful candidate will be responsible for lead optimization of novel protein aggregate degraders, utilizing both proteasome- and autophagosome-targeting modalities. The candidate will receive hands-on training focusing on the enhancement of potency and optimization of drug-like properties (stability, permeability, PK/PD model, etc.). Additionally, the researcher will develop innovative chemical tools and probes to interrogate fundamental biologic processes and mechanism of action. In addition to high-quality research facilities, career and professional development training for postdoctoral researchers is provided through the Career Center, Teaching Center, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, and campus groups.

This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range: Base pay is commensurate with experience.
