Postdoctoral Research Fellow/Research Officer in the Database System Group

Join a visionary team at the intersection of database systems and artificial intelligence. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow/Research Officer in the Database System group, you'll contribute to building intelligent, scalable, and robust data infrastructures that redefine how AI and data systems interact.

This is not just theoretical work – your research will result in deployable system prototypes, cutting-edge algorithms, and publications in top-tier venues. You'll be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation, reproducibility, and real-world impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting original research in AI-enhanced data systems.
• Developing intelligent storage, indexing, and query optimization techniques.
• Translating research into deployable prototypes and open-source tools.
• Publishing in leading conferences such as ACM SIGMOD and PVLDB.
• Teaching (20%) and supervising research students.
• Engaging with industry and academic collaborators.
