The Opportunity: We seek a Principal Scientist II, Analytical Development to join an experienced, fast-paced and collaborative team. This position will be primarily responsible for guiding the biophysical analytical strategy and developing novel analytical methods for characterizing AbbVie's mRNA-based targeted lipid nanoparticles (tLNPs) pipeline. This role will manage a small team of scientists focused on biophysical methods for characterizing intact tLNPs and the targeting ligands. Working closely with the technology development and research teams, this position will guide development of novel characterization methods, drive process/product understanding, support expansion of the tLNP platform and pipeline, and support product investigations.

Pay Range: $137,500 – 261,000 USD
Where We Work: Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
