The Principal Research Scientist, Lipid Chemist for Non-Viral Delivery, is self-reliant with a strong record of accomplishments, independently identifying and solving tough problems, repeatedly, across a number of critical and diverse projects. The Principal Research Scientist innovates proficiently and generates insights that influence research strategies. Responsibilities will include the design and synthesis of lipids within a project. Demonstrates resourcefulness in running multiple activities concurrently, all related to the achievement of goals/objectives. Adapts to new projects rapidly and to multiple projects effectively ensuring alignment with corporate goals. The Principal Research Scientist is regarded as an emerging expert in a field of research, providing reliable, valuable advice to other research project teams and exhibits an ability to make significant conceptual contributions.

Pay Range: $137,600 – $206,400
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
