In this vital role you will focus on the discovery of biomarkers to support the progression of therapeutic candidates from discovery to early clinical development. The Amgen Discovery Biomarkers group is looking for an innovative Principal Scientist, dedicated to biomarker discovery in the areas of inflammation and rare disease.
This Principal Scientist will work cross-functionally and interact closely with both the development and research groups.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree PhD, PharmD, MD with relevant postdoctoral experience and 2 years of Discovery Biomarkers experience
OR
Master's degree and 5 years of Discovery Biomarkers experience
OR
Bachelor's degree and 7 years of Discovery Biomarkers experience

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
