Job Description

Agrisera AB is a Life Science company with nearly 40 years of experience in the development and production of antibodies. The company is a leading supplier of antibodies against plant proteins and sells its own plant-based antibodies and related products to researchers and companies around the world through its webshop.

In addition to its own product and webshop operations, Agrisera also delivers antibodies that are downstream integrated into Olink's products. Olink's products are used in medical fields such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and neurological diseases. Olink's technology, Proximity Extension Assay (PEA), enables the measurement of over 5,000 biomarkers simultaneously in just a few µL of sample. The analyses contribute to a deeper understanding of disease processes, improved disease detection, and increased biological knowledge. Olink is owned by Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Om rollen: We offer you an exciting role at Agrisera's Research and Development in Umeå. Within R&D we work to find new interesting plant-based antibodies and related products that would fit well into our existing collection. These products will then be sold in our webshop. We specialize in antibodies for plant research and universal antibodies and related products. This is a temporary position until 2027.08.31.

Arbetsuppgifter

As a member of the group, your tasks will be varied and include both laboratory and administrative work. The main tasks will be to:

• Project administration
• Affinity purification
• ELISA
• Assessment of results
• Logistics

Vi söker dig som har:

• University degree, engineering or equivalent in the Life Science field
• Experience in laboratory work
• Documented laboratory experience and good knowledge in antibody-based test methods

Behärskar svenska och engelska flytande i tal och skrift. För att trivas i rollen som produktutvecklare hos oss behöver du vara ansvarstagande, driven och lösningsfokuserad. Du är en lagspelare som har lätt för att kommunicera och samarbeta med andra, men klarar även att arbeta självständigt. Då arbetet innebär hantering av stora mängder reagens och data värdesätter vi att du är strukturerad och mycket noggrann.
