Project Manager (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) Full-time

Support For Schaeffler-NTU Corporate Lab

We are looking for an experienced individual to support the Co-Directors, PIs, researchers, and students in managing the daily operations and ensuring the deliverables of the Schaeffler-NTU Corporate (SHARE) Lab.

Responsibilities:

• Capable of drafting clear and accurate meeting minutes with minimal guidance
• Understand and interpret the needs and requirements of funding agencies, especially in preparation and submission of the financial and grant phasing reports.
• Lead the end-to-end coordination of multi-disciplinary research programs within SHARE, ensure aligning technical milestones with the strategic roadmap of Schaeffler Phase III initiatives.
• Oversee Technical Quality Assurance and project progress reporting by monitoring multiple research projects, review the technical progress, identifying potential risks, and facilitating corrective actions to ensure outcome is successful and meet expectations.
• The candidate will also need to strengthen lab's safety awareness by arranging training courses from time to time to ensure lab user/s are aware of safety protocols and familiarise of all lab safety protocols
• The candidate will also design, develop and maintain website, ensuring website content is updated and aligned with program objectives
• The candidate will act as overall in-charge of the Safety within the lab and be part of the CERT Team – Participate the focal group for School of EEE electrical safety (High Current testing, Logout-Tag out SOP, review other electrical safety SOP etc).
• The candidate must be able to understand/review grant requirements and submit claims to funding agencies.
• Add advantage if understanding of the mechatronics and Robot design may participate on the projects' technical discussion and management.
• May take suitable project on the specific design and contribute to technology development.

Job Requirements:

• PhD/ MEng/ BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience
• 3 years of relevant experience in managing research lab of related area.
• Experience in preparing related reporting for funding agencies.
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic programming languages is a plus point.
• Have good understanding on drafting equipment specifications for tender submissions.
• Have good understanding to financial systems like SAP, ARIBA and Concur system is an advantage
