Manage a national Indigenous research project that centers community priorities and strengths. Coordinate stakeholders, events, and governance processes, gaining rich experience in Indigenous health research and policy engagement. Help turn evidence into practical change for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Lead day-to-day project management to deliver milestones on time, within scope, and aligned with budgets. Coordinate ethics, governance, and contractual documentation, ensuring compliance with University and partner requirements. Build and sustain respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and other key stakeholders. Plan and deliver workshops, forums, and community panels, including logistics, facilitation support, and follow-up reporting. Monitor risks, issues, and data governance practices, providing clear reports and advice to project leaders and funders.
You may be a great fit if you hold a relevant degree and substantial experience managing complex projects in research or higher education settings. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of research infrastructure, including data management, governance processes, and impact tracking. Manage multiple priorities with strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills in dynamic, multi-partner environments. Bring experience working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities or Indigenous-led organizations. Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, producing high-quality briefs, reports, presentations, and stakeholder correspondence. Collaborate effectively with distributed teams, exercising sound judgment, initiative, and tact when resolving project challenges.
