R&D Scientist III (Fixed-Term) Full-time

Job Opportunity

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the team of Cell biologists in Vilnius R&D and together with international project team work on the development of products for cell therapy customers. We supply our customers with key technologies and tools for use in cell therapy applications. To further strengthen our capabilities, we are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and engaged R&D Scientist (Immunologist/Cell biologist/Molecular biologist).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in the field of cell biology / immunology; developing tools and methods for the use in product functionality / quality analysis.
• Design, perform research experiments together with the project team.
• Document results of the studies in comprehensive reports and present them to peers or stakeholders.
• Validate immunoassays and bioassays in accordance with ICH guidelines and / or customer requirements.
• Mentor less experienced staff, independently lead technical projects of limited scope
• Generate creative ideas for new products.

Requirements for Qualification / Education / Experience:

• MS degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD in cell, molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry or other life science related field
• Desired technical skills:
  • Mammalian cell culture
  • Flow cytometry, microscopy
  • Protein analysis (ELISA, WB and other immunoassays).
  • DNA/RNA analysis by qPCR
  • Beads/microspheres-based cell isolation and activation.
• Knowledge in statistical methods, regulations pertaining to cell therapy and biologics would be an advantage.
• Highly motivated to work in a high pace environment, committed to complete all tasks on time.
• Possess strong team skills in a collaborative and transparent working environment

Compensation: The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2 891,67–€4 335,42.
