Research Assistant for Field Work Amphibian Conservation

We are seeking a Research Assistant for the project “Amphibian Skin Microbiomes and Infectious Diseases” in Maria Cortazar Chinarro's group (Animal Ecology Program). Duties
As a Research Assistant in the Animal Ecology Programme, you will support and conduct fieldwork research focused on sampling amphibian species in natural habitats. The position involves preparing field equipment and materials, assisting with data collection to advance our project on amphibian skin microbiomes and infectious diseases, and possibly supporting molecular work (e.g., in situ analytical techniques like DNA extractions, PCRs, and qPCRs).
This hands-on role offers valuable experience in ecological fieldwork within a collaborative, international research environment.
Requirements
You must hold a PhD in Biology (or equivalent), demonstrate a strong interest in herpetology, have prior field experience working with amphibians, and possess knowledge and experience working in a molecular lab.
