Our project is to develop a unified framework to conduct physical adversarial attacks and defences with a novel unified autonomous vehicle scene representation. Our project consists of theoretical fundamental, adversarial attack/defence algorithms, and robustness-oriented understanding methods to enhance the robustness of AV perception models in the physical world.

The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for research into the different work packages
• Responsible for the development of solutions to different work packages
• Evaluate the different solutions available
• Timely reporting of research finding
• Run large data simulation
• Procurement of needed hardware
• Procurement of software

Job Requirements:

• Preferably Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Possess relevant working experience and qualifications
• Strong drive for research and innovation
• Experience in executing large-scale projects will have an advantage.
• Possess interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different groups of stakeholders.
• Competent in written and oral communication skills
