We are looking for a Research Assistant to be in charge of an experimental project aiming to couple light with a dense atomic medium to study cooperative effects with application in quantum sensing. The role will focus on developing the experiment, taking and analyzing data. The successful candidate will join an experimental team working with an ultracold system. Candidate will work on cooperative effect in light-matter coupling. To reach this regime, the atomic medium will be compressed in an optical dipole trap to obtain the required density. The candidate will be in direct supervision with an experienced research fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the necessary technical developments on the experimental setup to achieve the scientific objectives.
• Maintain the system in good working condition.
• Report, at least on a weekly basis, to the principal investigator.
• Prepare and use the necessary data analysis tools.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physics.
• At least 3 months of experience in experimental optics.
