The Research Department of Practice and Policy at the UCL School of Pharmacy is a global leader in advancing the safe and effective use of medicines. Our multidisciplinary team focuses on pharmacoepidemiology, utilising advanced statistical methodologies and large-scale healthcare databases to inform clinical practice and public health policy.
This will be an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Practice and Policy. This position is funded by a European Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no. 965381, Management of chronic cardiometabolic disease and treatment discontinuity in adult ADHD patients (TIMESPAN).
TIMESPAN is a stellar consortium led by international recognised leaders working together on an interdisciplinary basis, consisting of clinicians, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, geneticists and artificial intelligence computer scientists.
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to support pharmacoepidemiology research using large healthcare databases (e.g., UK CPRD and linked datasets). The postholder will contribute to study design, data management, statistical analysis, and dissemination (reports/manuscripts) across projects including drug utilisation, self-controlled study designs, ADHD and pregnancy-related pharmacoepidemiology.

Please note that salary will be on Grade 6B (£39,148 – £41,833 per annum).
