Research Assistant Position

Research Assistant Position

We are seeking a Research Assistant to support the research for the project titled: Non-intrusive Plug-and-Play Adaptive HVAC Control for FCU HVAC Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laison for development of a thermal and occupancy sensor.
• Deployment of servers and assistance in network setup in a testbed building.
• Data collection from BMS and thermal and occupancy sensors, and machine learning based analysis.
• Daily system maintenance for the servers and onboard software modules.
• To assist project PI to coach research students

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in relevant fields with past experience in embedded system, wireless network and software development.
• Knowledge in machine learning based data analytics related to building HVAC systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in English – essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
