Research Associate (AI Law) Full-time

Legal Research Associate

The Nanyang Business School (NBS) is recruiting a Legal Research Associate in the area of AI, data protection and data privacy law, technology law, health law and cybersecurity law and practice.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in primary legal research on databases such as Lexis-Nexis, HeinOnline etc
2. Collate research materials found, inclusive of preparing summaries of research materials which involves reading and drafting written summaries of regulatory materials, legal judgments, and secondary materials
3. Formulation and development of data governance practices and frameworks
4. Implementing empirical research
5. Other research administrative tasks

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Law degree or Juris Doctor from a good University, with experience in research and/or AI law and regulation and/or in data protection law
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with leadership potential
• Organised and meticulous
• Capable of following instructions meticulously
• Team player and able to work independently
• Solid understanding of technology is an advantage
