The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine LLM-powered agents capable of understanding user intent, adapting to context, and executing repetitive tasks without requiring traditional programming knowledge.

• Conduct experiments with real end users to evaluate usability, reliability, and effectiveness of dialogue-driven programming systems.

• Analyze user interactions and feedback to identify challenges, improve alignment, and enhance collaboration between humans and AI systems.

• Contribute to publications at top-tier venues and share findings with the broader research community.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Support teaching and mentoring activities as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Experience building LLM based programming systems

• Experience in building interactive / fullstack online systems

• Good programming skills and experience with machine learning framework

• Publication record is a plus

• Ability to work independently and in a team.
