Research Associate Position

School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the founding schools of the Nanyang Technological University. We are looking for a research associate to work on embodied intelligence. The role will focus on developing, designing, and implementing novel algorithms and models to address emerging problems in embodied intelligence, such as Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data collection and processing
• Conducting experiments and analyzing results
• Assisting with robot operation, debugging, and system integration
• Providing general support for the lab

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Knowledge and experience in machine learning, computer vision and deep learning
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as Python
• Self-motivated and takes initiative
