The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curate and maintain high-quality instruction-following datasets for advancing human-AI collaboration.
• Train and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) on curated datasets to develop next-generation AI assistants.
• Conduct experiments and evaluate models to identify effective techniques for alignment and collaboration.
• Contribute to publications at top-tier research venues and present findings to the academic community.
• Collaborate closely with team members on research initiatives and interdisciplinary projects.
• Support teaching activities and mentor students when required.

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in fine-tuning LLMs on curated datasets
• Experience in curating datasets both synthetic and from humans
• Good programming skills and experience with machine learning framework
• Publication record is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
