Research Associate in Geometry and Mechanics

Join the laboratory of Dr Cyrus Mostajeran at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. We are seeking a Research Associate to contribute to the research agenda of the Applied Geometries Lab at NTU.

Key responsibilities include:

• Geometric modelling for shape analysis and robotics
• Designing, implementing, and testing algorithms
• Engaging in scientific exchange with collaboration partners of the project
• Preparing reports, scientific papers, and presentations

Job requirements include:

• Master's degree in mathematics or a closely related subject
• Knowledge of differential geometry and mechanics
• Enthusiasm for applying advanced mathematical tools and techniques to robotics applications
• Good communication skills
• Experience in the use of programming languages and interest in the implementation of algorithms relevant to the project
