An exciting opportunity for a maternity cover post has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Research Coordinator to join our dynamic team within the Molecular & Cellular Immunology Unit at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust (GOSH). This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work on ATMP projects and clinical trials, for both manufacturing and clinical teams, to be the lead person for local financial/contractual management and support both the manufacturing and clinical teams for a portfolio of commercial and non-commercial trials. You will be based within a busy research team and have oversight of contracts on a large portfolio of phase I/II cell and gene therapy clinical trials for rare childhood disorders. You will be the key point of contact for the trials team, internal and external partners. The post is a maternity cover only up to March 2027 and a secondment would be considered.
Experience with NHS and University finance/budgets and contract management systems and policies is an essential. The individual should have experience of liaising with finance teams and multidisciplinary teams and should have previously worked on Clinical trials. You will need to have knowledge of research governance concepts. The Individual should have effective organizational skills and be looking for a new and exciting challenge. You should demonstrate the ability to manage your own workload and to work as part of a dynamic team and have excellent interpersonal skills.
