We are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to undertake research with Professor Jonas De Vos (PI for the UK) on the “Activating Children's and Youth's Active Travel in 15-minutes Cities (ACTIVATE)” project, funded by UKRI/Horizon Europe.
This is a fixed-term post for 24 months at 100% FTE, with a start date of September/October 2026. Interviews for this role are likely to take place in April.

Educated to PhD (or equivalent) level in travel behaviour, transport policy and/or transport planning, the successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of travel behaviour research, expertise in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, experience in writing academic reports and papers, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently while adhering to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, data governance and risk management policies.
